  • Improved 5-23 record (2014) to program's first back to back winning seasons and program's best season (18-11, 2016)

  • School-first 3-0 sweep of a NCAA DIII top-ten opponent (2016 vs #9 Hope College: 2014 National Champions)

  • School-first NCAA DIII National Player of the Week (2016)

  • Multiple first and second team all-conference athletes, (2015, 2016)

  • Attended AVCA National Convention in 2014 and 2015

  • Coached three teams to AAU Club Nationals top-20 finishes, (2012, 2013, 2014)

Team Kaizen Chikara Program Director

As Site Director for Team Kaizen Chikara, Connie is committed to offering an optimal club experience at an affordable cost to families in Douglas County.  Connie is entering her 8th season as a volleyball parent in the CEVA league.  Her daughters , Bella and Nicole, have played for Roseburg Volleyball Club, Sutherlin Volleyball Club and Volleyball West.  


In 2018, Connie collaborated with other volleyball parents, the coaching staff at Roseburg High School, and Cesar Maza, Director of TEAM KAIZEN VOLLEYBALL, based in Springfield, to establish TEAM KAIZEN CHIKARA. Based in Roseburg, the directors and coaches of TEAM KAIZEN CHIKARA are dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and positive environment  for volleyball players to improve skills, learn good sportsmanship, and play competitive volleyball through membership and participation in the CEVA power league.
